Donald Anderson, CFA

PARTNER, INVESTMENT BANKING

Don brings nearly 30 years of experience to Moneta, including over 15 years spent in the financial markets in Toronto and Vancouver and 12 years as an entrepreneur and executive, gained primarily in East and Southern Africa. Within the financial markets, Don has been on both the sell-side, as equity analyst and investment banker at boutique brokerage firms and on the buy-side as equity analyst and fund manager at a major Canadian investment management firm. In addition to his ongoing role as a partner in our firm, in 2024, Don was appointed Chief Investment Officer of our client firm, Canada Rare Earth Corp.

Don studied Economics at Western University, Investment Decisions and Behavioral Finance at Harvard Kennedy School, and he is a CFA Charterholder.

Don specializes in advising and arranging capital for companies involved in the production of critical metals and minerals. He also works with companies wishing to participate in the burgeoning carbon credit and offset markets.
