Darwin has extensive financial industry executive leadership, operational, and strategic experience. His career in financial services spans over 30 years. Before joining Moneta, Darwin served as Regional President for British Columbia at National Bank, Canada’s sixth largest bank, measured in assets. While with National Bank, Darwin oversaw the launch and rapid growth of Private Banking 1859, which grew under Darwin’s leadership to become a leading player in the Canadian private banking and wealth management space. Prior to joining National Bank, Darwin spent over 24 years at RBC and Royal Trust in various investment advisory and leadership roles.

Darwin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, and he was a member of the first cohort of graduates from the UBC Sauder School of Business Family Advisory Program (known today as the Family Enterprise Advisory (FEA) Program).
